Solid Shawarma family run hole in the wall Shawarma place. I had the chicken Shawarma and it was delicious. The toppings were all very fresh and you could taste it. The garlic sauce had good punch and the hot sauce was flavourful with being too hot. There was a wider variety of toppings than I was used to. This is exactly the kind of small business I like to support.

Also of note: The homemade baklava is excellent and my wife always requests I get more if I am going here.

Really good service and great food. They have Samosas, Pakoras and Dhal which makes the Shawarma unique to me.

I've had the honour of calling Uncles my main schwarma place still they opened. I remember seeing the first $5 bill go up on the wall and than the first $20 go up on the wall. It's been awesome seeing them grow since!
I initially went because it was conveniently located near my work at the time, haven't worked there in year's but this is still my go to spot. Even when my folks go somewhere else for Fast Food I will opt out and go to Uncles instead because the food is that good!

Delicious Gyro and fairly priced.

The owners of the place are super welcoming and caring, really makes you feel like you're at a cool uncle's place. Even at meal rush times, they will always be working and serving with a smile on their face. There is such a wide variety of food, when going out with picky eaters there's always a delicious option that will satisfy each of them. Super duper people, super duper food.

My FIRST stop evertime I fly back home to KW from the West. Great amazing food, a must have is extra garlic sauce. Over time I've had just about all of thier delicious Middle Eastern dish's - Butter Chicken and Falafels are my favourites had them numerous times. Also make sure to try a combination of the 3 rices together.

I drive from Cambridge to Waterloo just to get Shawarma from Uncles. This place is amazing and they're extremely nice people. Just eat here.

I am a regular of this restaurant, their kebabs are just too good (chicken thighs are the bomb). Their spicy rice is my fav to accompany my kebabs. There are some days where I opt for the Gyro that are just frankly the best in town imo. The owners are just too nice and friendly, and always have this warm feeling to them. I recall forgetting my wallet at home once and they had no problem giving me the food and asking me to pay next time. I mean who does that!

I got the chicken shawarma wrap with "everything", including the turnips, garlic and hot sauce. The chicken was tender and not oily. The veggies were fresh and crunchy. The hot sauce had awesome flavour! Only good things to say.

Definitely a hidden gem. I recently moved to this area, and didn't know a lot of places to eat. I came across this restaurant and was surprised with how wonderful the owners where. They where patient and very helpful. I told my co-workers about this place and they go there from time to time. It's one of my places to go when I'm craving a Shawarma. If you haven't tried this amazing place out. I highly recommend doing so.

Very large and fresh gyros and shawarmas. I don't know about you guys but nothing beats a good gyro, but these folks also do home made burgers. Fall off the bone chicken legs. Amazing assortment of free toppings, and premium toppings. Very professional and warm owners. You will not be disappointed.

In my one month stay in Waterloo, I realized I had a mission: to try every shawarma place in town. Yet, my visit to Uncle's Shawarma was anything but planned. After lunch, my sister and I were still unsatisfied and so we decided to check out this complex at random. Uncle's Shawarma peaked my eye and I decided to go in on a whim. The second I came in the owner and I locked eyes and he greeted me with a friendly smile. I checked out the menu and was surprised at how inexpensive everything was, especially compared to other shawarma restaurants locally. I went with a kabab over some lettuce with pickles and tahini and every delicious taste was perfect in my mouth! I got to chatting with the cashier, who was also just as friendly as the man who welcomed me and with the combination of great prices, delicious food, and a welcoming environment Uncle's Shawarma definitely won my heart (and stomach)!

The ABSOLUTE BEST Chicken shawarma meat. After trying their Shawarma salad, I can't stand any other one in town. Must try the lamb shank too. No nee for a knife, the meat falls off the bone. This place is also PERFECT to stay on my Keto Diet :)

Great food, polite staff. I had the shawarma sandwich and it was very good. You have to pay extra for some toppings but at least you have the option to add different toppings like turnips. The shawarma itself was really good although it could have been wrapped slightly better. It stacks up pretty well to other shawarma joints in the area like mozys or lazeez.
